The Briton 378E Panic Latch is designed for single doors or the primary leaf in pairs with rebated meeting edges, paired with a vertical bolt on the opposite door. Activating the push bar releases the bolt, enabling quick and safe exit during emergencies. It is handed for left or right door configurations but can be reversed on site if needed. Certified with CE marking and fire-tested to EN1634 for 2 hours, it has also been rigorously tested for over 200,000 cycles. Supplied with all fixings and backed by a 5-year warranty, it ensures reliable performance where safety is critical.
